~ Rich Chocolate Fudge ~
1/2 lb butter
5 cups sugar
1 can evaporated milk
2--8 oz pkg chocolate chips
1 t vanilla
1/2 cup nuts (optional)
Place butter, sugar, milk in pan: cook to soft ball stage,
stirring constantly. Remove from heat; add chocolate chips,
vanilla and nuts. Beat until stiff and candy loses it gloss.
Pour into 8x11 inch buttered pan.
Allow to cool.

For gift giving place fudge in a gift box.
Embellish box with Christmas greenery and ribbon.
Add an ornament to the bow as an added gift.
