~ Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookies ~
3/4 cup Crisco
1 1/4 cup brown sugar
2 T milk
1 T vanilla
1 egg
1 3/4 cup flour
1 t salt
3/4 t baking soda
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 375F.
Combine crisco, brown sugar, milk and vanilla. Beat
until creamy. Beat in egg. Combine flour, salt and
baking soda. Mix into creamed mixture until just
blended. Add chips. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls on
ungreased cookies sheets (or lined with parchment
paper). Bake for 8 - 10 minutes. Do not over bake!
Cookies will appear moist. Cool on baking sheet for
2 minutes. Remove to cooling racks.
