~ Sugar Cookies ~
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup margarine or butter
1 cup sour cream
1 egg
2 t vanilla
1 t soda
4 1/2 cups flour
1/2 t salt
Preheat oven to 425F.
Cream together first 5 ingredients. Sift
together the last 3 ingredients. Mix all
together and roll out to 1/4 inch thick
and cut out with cookie cutters. Bake for
7 - 10 minutes depending on your oven.
Try not to over or under cook these.
Frost with your favorite frosting.

For gift giving package cookies in cellophane bag.
Place bag into decorative paper bag lined with
tissue paper. Add gift tag.
