~ Oatmeal Nut Cookies ~
2 eggs
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 cup shortening
1 cup chopped nuts
1 1/2 cup flour
1 t soda
1 t salt
3 cups oatmeal
1 t vanilla
Preheat oven to 350F.
Cream shortening and sugars. Add eggs and beat
mixture. Add flour, soda, salt, and vanilla.
Add oatmeal and nuts. Drop from a spoon on an
ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes.

Embellish box with Christmas greenery and ribbon.
