~ Oatmeal Cookies With a Twist ~
1--16 oz pkg pound cake mix
2 eggs
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1 t vanilla
1/2 t ground cinnamon
1 cup quick cooking oats
3/4 cup chocolate covered raisins
Preheat oven to 375F.
In large bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, oil,
vanilla, and cinnamon. Beat until smooth.
Fold in oats and raisins. On ungreased
cookie sheet, drop dough by teaspoonful 2
inches apart. Bake 8 - 10 minutes or
until edges are golden brown.
Makes 4 dozen cookies

For gift giving package cookies in a ziplock bag.
Place bag of cookies in a flannel gift bag. To
make flannel gift bag, use a 10 1/2 x 25 inch piece
of flannel fabric. Matching right sides and short
edges, fold fabric in half. Using 1/4 inch seam
allowance, sew sides of bag together. Turn bag
right side out. Fringe top edge of bag. Gather
top of bag together and secure with ribbon or
raffia. Add gift tag.
