~ Lemon Bars ~
2 1/3 cups flour
1 cup butter or margarine, melted
1/2 cup powdered sugar
3 T flour
4 eggs, slightly beaten
2 cups granulated sugar
5 T lemon juice
1 T lemon extract
2 t baking powder
Preheat oven to 350F.
Combine 2 cups flour, butter and powdered sugar;
mix well and pat into 10x13 inch pan. Bake for
15 - 20 minutes. Combine 2 tablespoons flour,
eggs, granulated sugar, lemon juice and extract,
baking powder and salt. Pour over baked and
cooled crust and bake 25 minutes. Sprinkle
with powdered sugar; cool completely before
cutting into bars.

Add to gift basket with favorite tea mixture, tea
infuser, and teacup or coffee mug. Embellish basket
