~ Gingerbread Squares ~
1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 1/2 t baking powder
2 t ginger
1 t cinnamon
1/2 t salt
1/4 t cloves
1 cup milk
confectioners sugar
Preheat oven to 375F.
Grease a 13x9 inch baking pan. Beat sugar and
butter in a large bowl on medium speed until
light and fluffy, about 5 minutes. Beat in
eggs, one at a time, until combined. Add
flour, baking powder, ginger, cinnamon, salt
and cloves to butter mixture; pour milk over
mixture and beat just until smooth. Transfer
batter to prepared pan. bake until a toothpick
inserted in middle comes out clean, about 30
minutes. Transfer pan to wire rack to cool
slightly or until ready to serve. Before
serving, dust gingerbread with confectioners
sugar; cut into squares and serve warm or
at room temperature.

Use wrapping paper to decoupage a plate.
Add cookies and wrap filled plate with
Saran Wrap. Add ribbon and gift tag.
Decoupage plate is for decorative use only.
Wipe clean with damp cloth.
