~ Fudge Brownie Cookies ~
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 t baking soda
1/2 t salt
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup butter
2 eggs
2 t vanilla
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 375F.
Mix flour, baking soda, salt and cocoa
powder in a small bowl. In another bowl,
beat the butter and sugars until light
and fluffy. Blend in the eggs and vanilla.
Add flour mixture, beating until blended.
Add in chocolate chips and stir to mix.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto
ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for
8 - 10 minutes, checking often. Do not
over bake. Slightly under backed leaves
them moist and fudgey, just like a
rich brownie.

Decorate tin with country graphics and give
as a gift. Line tin with decorative cellophane,
tie tin closed with a homespun fabric bow and
add gift tag.
