~ Bake-less Chocolate Oat Cookies ~
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup cocoa
2 cups sugar
3 cups quick oats
1/2 cup milk
1 t vanilla
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Combine in a sauce pan butter, cocoa, sugar, and milk
and boil while stirring for 5 minutes, or until well
mixed. Remove from heat and add vanilla, walnuts and
oats let cool a little and then spoon out onto a cookie
sheet. Let cool, will harden into chunky, good cookies.
Refrigerate to speed up this process.

For gift giving place cookies in a holiday tin.
Decorate tin with country graphics. Embellish
with a homespun-fabric bow.
