~ Almond Roca Cookies ~
1 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1 egg yolk
1 t vanilla
2 cup sifted cake flour
1 bar milk chocolate, 9 oz melted
1/2 cup toasted sliced almonds
Preheat oven to 350F.
Cream butter, sugar and brown sugar until fluffy;
beat in egg yolk and vanilla. Add flour; stir until
blended. Spread batter evenly in ungreased 10x15
inch rimmed cookie sheet. Bake for about 20 minutes
or until golden. Remove from oven. Spread with
chocolate; sprinkle with almonds. Cut in squares
while still warm; chill until chocolate is firm.
Makes 4 dozen bars
