~ Peanut Butter Cake Pops ~
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup applesauce
1 cup water
2 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
2 eggs
2 t vanilla extract
2 cup all-purpose flour
1 t baking soda
Peanut Butter Icing (recipe below)
metal mold pan**
(**your choice of size and shape)
Preheat oven to 350F.
Combine first 4 ingredients in a saucepan; bring to a boil.
Remove from heat; stir in sugar and milk. Mix in eggs and
vanilla. Using an electric mixer, blend in flour and
baking soda until smooth. Pour batter into lightly
greased metal mold pan, filling each mold. Bake for
13 - 15 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes, then remove to
cooling rack. Insert wooden sticks into each and frost
with Peanut Butter Icing.
Makes approx 2 dozen
depending on mold shape and size
~Peanut Butter Icing~
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup milk
1 lb pkg powered sugar
1 t vanilla extract
Place first 3 ingredients in a saucepan and bring to boil.
Remove from heat, using an electric mixer, blend in powdered
sugar and vanilla until smooth and creamy.

For gift giving, individually wrap each cake pop with clear
cellophane. Add wrapped bars to gift box. Embellish gift
box with Christmas greenery and ribbon.
Add gift tag and recipe card.
