~ Milky Way Cake ~
8 Milky Way bars
1 cup butter
2 cups granulated sugar
4 eggs
2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/4 cups buttermilk
1 cup nuts
Frosting (recipe below)
Preheat oven to 325F.
Melt candy and 1/2 cup butter. Set aside. Cream sugar
and the remaining 1 stick butter. Add eggs. Add flour
and baking soda alternately with buttermilk. Add candy
mixture. Bake in a tube pan for 70 minutes.
~Frosting~
1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
2 T flour
7 T milk
1 Milky Way candy bar
Boil together one minute the brown sugar, flour
and milk. Remove from heat and add candy bar.
Stir well and spread over cake.

For gift giving decorate a plate with enamel or
ceramic paint. Let dry. Place cake on plate.
