~ Marbled Cheesecake Bars ~
2 cups finely crushed creme-filled chocolate sandwich cookie* crumbs
(*about 24 cookies)
3 T butter or margarine, melted
3--8 oz pkgs. cream cheese, softened
1--14 oz can sweetened condensed milk**
(**not evaporated milk)
3 eggs
2 t vanilla extract
2--1 oz squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
Preheat oven to 300F.
Line 13×9 inch baking pan with heavy foil; set aside.
In medium mixing bowl, combine crumbs and butter;
press firmly on bottom of prepared pan. In large
mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually
beat in sweetened condensed milk until smooth. Add
eggs and vanilla; mix well. Pour half the batter
evenly over prepared crust. Stir melted chocolate
into remaining batter; spoon over vanilla batter.
With table knife or metal spatula, gently swirl
through batter to marble. Bake 45 - 50 minutes
or until set. Cool. Chill. Cut into bars. Store
covered in refrigerator.
Makes 2 - 3 dozen bars

For gift giving bake cheesecake in a decorative disposable
aluminum covered pan. Leave baked cheesecake in pan.
Embellish pan with ribbon. Add recipe card.
