~ Killer Brownies ~
8 oz unsweetened chocolate squares
1/2 cup plus 3 T butter or margarine, cut up
2 cups sugar
4 large eggs
1 t vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 t salt
1--12 oz pkg semisweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups walnuts, toasted and chopped
Preheat oven to 350F.
Line a 13x9 inch baking pan with foil; grease foil.
Microwave chocolate and butter in large microwaveproof
bowl on High 3 minutes; stir until smooth. Whisk in
sugar, then eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour and salt.
Fold in chocolate chips and walnuts. Pour into pan.
Bake 28 - 30 minutes until center is just set. Cool.
Remove brownies from pan; peel off foil. Cut into
2-inch squares.
Makes 2 dozen brownies

disposable aluminum covered pan. Separate layers
with cellophane. Embellish pan with ribbon.
