~ Fruit Cocktail Cake ~
2 cups flour, sifted
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 t soda
1/2 t salt
2 eggs
1 large can of fruit cocktail, do not drain
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped nuts
Cool Whip (optional)
Preheat oven to 350F.
Mix ingredients together by hand. Pour into a
greased and floured 13x9 inch pan and sprinkle
top with brown sugar and chopped nuts before
baking for 25 minutes. Cool and serve. Top
with Cool Whip if desired.

For gift giving bake cake in a decorative disposable
aluminum covered pan. Leave baked cake in pan.
Embellish pan with ribbon. Add recipe card.
