~ Cream Cheese Coffee Cake ~
2--8 oz pkgs cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup sugar
1 t lemon juice
1 T vanilla
2 eggs, separate white from yolk
2 cans of 8 crescent rolls plus 1 can of 4 crescent rolls
Preheat oven to 375F.
Cream the cream cheese, sugar, lemon juice, vanilla and
egg yolks together. Line bottom of 9x13 inch pan with
1 can of 8 crescent rolls. Stretch thin to cover. Spread
cream cheese mixture evenly over rolls. Top with
remaining rolls. Brush egg whites over top and
sprinkle with sugar. Bake until golden brown.

For gift giving bake cake in a decorative disposable
aluminum covered pan. Leave baked cake in pan.
Embellish pan with ribbon. Add recipe card.
