~ Caramel Brownies ~
1 pkg German Chocolate cake mix
3/4 cup melted butter
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1--6 oz pkg chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts
50 caramels
Preheat oven to 350F.
Combine cake mix, butter and 1/3 cup evaporated milk
Spread 1/2 of mixture into greased 9x13 inch pan.
Bake for 6 minutes. Remove from oven. Sprinkle chips
and nuts over top. Melt caramels and add remaining
1/3 Cup evaporated milk to melted caramels. Pour over
chips and nuts. Spread remaining 1/2 of cake mixture
on top. Bake 20 minutes more. Cool and cut into bars.
