~ Blueberry Muffins ~
with Streusel Topping
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
2 cups flour
2 t baking powder
1/4 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup milk
1/2 t salt
1 1/4 cups blueberries
Streusel Topping (recipe below)
Preheat oven to 350F.
Cream together sugar and butter. Beat in egg and milk.
In a separate bowl sift flour, salt, and baking powder.
Stir in dry ingredients into wet mixture. Fold blueberries
in gently and combine well. Spoon into greased muffin tins
and bake for 5 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle with
topping mixture and bake for an additional 10 to 15 minutes
Makes 12 large muffins
~Streusel Topping~
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 t cinnamon
1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup soft butter
Combine ingredients with pastry blender or fork.
Leave coarse and chunky.

Tie with Christmas ribbon and small ornament.
Add gift tag and recipe card. Can also be added
to a gift basket.
