~ Blackberry Dumpling Cobbler ~
~Berry Filling~
2 quarts of fresh blackberries
2 to 3 cups of sugar
3 T cornstarch
~Batter Topping~
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1 t baking powder
1/2 t salt
4 T softened butter
2 eggs, slightly beaten
Preheat oven to 400F.
Mix the above ingredients and cook and stir over medium
heat until mixture begins to thicken. Spray a 13x9
baking dish with Pam and pour berry mixture into dish.
On the top of the berry mixture, drop by spoonfuls the
batter topping, below. Bake until topping is golden
brown; usually 30 - 45 minutes. Serve hot or cool.

For gift giving bake cobbler in a decorative disposable
aluminum covered pan. Leave baked cobbler in pan.
Embellish pan with ribbon. Add recipe card.
