~ Peanut Butter Banana Bread ~
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 egg
1 1/2 cup mashed ripe bananas
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup buttermilk
1 1/2 cup flour
1 t baking soda
Preheat oven to 350F.
Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan. Cream brown
sugar and butter until fluffy. Add egg,
bananas, peanut butter and buttermilk.
Mix well. Gradually add flour and baking
soda to the creamed mixture. Pour batter
into loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour or until
it tests done when a toothpick inserted
in the center comes out clean. Cool in
pan 10 minutes, then remove and allow to
cool completely on wire rack.
Makes 1 loaf

For gift giving set loaf on top of small
bread board. Wrap in Saran Wrap. Embellish
with a homespun fabric bow and gift tag.
