~ Fresh Peach Bread ~
1/2 cup butter
2 cups sugar
1/4 cup orange juice
2 T milk
2 eggs
2 1/2 cups peach puree
4 cups flour
2 t soda
2 t baking powder
1/4 t salt
1 cup chopped nuts
Preheat oven to 350F.
Cream together butter, sugar, orange juice,
milk, eggs and peach puree. Add flour, soda,
baking powder, salt and chopped nuts. Pour
batter into 2 greased and floured loaf pans
8 1/2 x 4 1/2. Bake for 50 - 60 minutes.
Makes 2 loaves

For gift giving set each loaf on top of small
bread board. Wrap in Saran Wrap. Embellish with
a homespun fabric bow and gift tag.
