~ Chocolate Cookie Muffins ~
2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup sugar
2 t baking powder
3/4 t salt
3/4 cup cold butter or margarine, cut into 12 pieces
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1 t vanilla
14 chocolate sandwich cookies (Oreo's), broken
Preheat oven to 400F. Grease twelve 2 1/2 inch muffin-pan cups. Mix,
flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in large bowl.
With pastry blender, or fork, cut in butter until
mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Mix egg, milk
and vanilla in small bowl. Stir into flour just
until blended. Gently stir in cookies. Spoon
into prepared cups, dividing batter equally.
Bake for 12 minutes or until wooden pick inserted
in centers comes out clean. Remove muffins from
pans to wire racks to cool.
Makes 12 muffins

napkins. Embellish basket with Christmas greenery
and ribbon. Add gift tag.
