~ Chocolate Banana Nut Bread ~
1 cup mashed bananas (about 2)
1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
6 T cocoa
1 t baking soda
1/2 t salt
1/4 t baking powder
2 eggs
1/2 cup oil
1/3 cup chopped nuts
Preheat oven to 350F.
Grease bottom of loaf pan. Mash bananas; mix dry
ingredients. Add eggs, oil, bananas and nuts; stir
until blended. Bake for 55 - 60 minutes. Cool in
pan 10 minutes before removing.
Cool before slicing.
Makes 1 loaf

For gift giving set each loaf on top of small
bread board. Wrap in Saran Wrap. Embellish with
a homespun fabric bow and gift tag.
