~ Chocolate Banana Bread ~
2 medium bananas
1 Duncan Hines Triple Chocolate Cake Mix**
(**or a chocolate cake mix and 1 cup mini chocolate chips)
1 small box banana pudding
3 eggs
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup applesauce
3/4 t cinnamon
1/2 cup water
3/4 cup nuts (optional)
Preheat oven to 350F.
Put bananas in mixing bowl first and mash
with mixer. Dump everything else in bowl
and mix well. Fill 2 large greased bread
pans (or 8 small ones for gifts). Bake for
50 minutes for large pans and 30 minutes
for small pans. Done when toothpick
comes out clean. Cool.
Makes 2 large or 8 small loaves

For gift giving individually wrap loaves in
Saran Wrap (over waxed paper). Place in gift
basket. Add a package of coffee beans, a pair
of coffee mugs. and napkins. Embellish with
Christmas greenery and ribbon. Add gift tag.
