~ Banana Split Bread ~
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1 t soda
1 cup mashed bananas (2-3 bananas)
1/2 cup maraschino cherries, coarsely chopped
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/3 cup nuts
Preheat oven to 350F.
Cream together first three ingredients. Add remaining
ingredients, and mix well. Bake for 45 minutes in
greased and floured loaf pan.
NOTE: You may need to bake the bread
for a little longer...about 1 hour.
Makes 1 loaf

For gift giving decorate a tin with country
graphics. Line tin with decorative cellophane,
place sliced loaf in tin, and tie tin closed with
a homespun fabric bow. Add gift tag. May also be
added to gift basket for that special gift.
