Spanish Noodle & Beef Casserole
~ Mix in a Jar ~
1 tbsp chili powder
2 tbsp dried minced onion
1/2 tbsp dried minced garlic
3 tbsp real bacon bits
3 3/4 cups medium egg noodles
Layer in wide-mouth 1-quart canning jar in order listed above
Press each layer firmly in place before adding next ingredient
Put the lid on the jar and tie a homespun fabric bow around the lid
As an added touch, tie a wooden spoon to the lid
Attach jar labels to the jar with the following instructions

~ Spanish Noodle & Beef Casserole ~
1 jar casserole mix
1--14oz can Rotel tomatoes with juice
1 lb ground beef
1 medium green pepper, diced
2 cups of water
Empty contents of jar into crockpot and
stir to combine. In a saucepan, bring water
to boil. Pour over dry ingredients. Stir in
tomatoes. In a frying pan, brown ground
beef and add green peppers. Drain off all
fat and add to crockpot
Cook on high for 1 1/2 to 2 hours
