Give jars by themselves or use as the perfect addition to any gift basket
Great idea for the holidays or any special occasion
~ Skillet Lasagna Mix in a Jar ~
1/4 cup plus 2 tbsp instant dry milk
2 tbsp plus 2 tsp cornstarch
2 tsp chicken or beef bouillon
1/4 tsp dried basil
1/4 tsp thyme
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tsp dried parsley flakes
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 cup dried minced onion
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
3 cup egg noodles
Layer in wide-mouth 1-quart canning jar in order listed above
Press each layer firmly in place before adding next ingredient
Put the lid on the jar and tie a homespun fabric bow around the lid
As an added touch, tie a wooden spoon to the lid
Attach jar labels to the jar with the following instructions

~ Skillet Lasagna ~
1 jar lasagna mix
1 lb ground beef
2 cups water
1--16oz can tomato sauce
2 cups mozzarella cheese
In a skillet brown ground beef and crumble
Drain off fat. Add lasagna mix, water, and
tomato sauce. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat
and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring until thickened
Top with mozzarella cheese for 5 minutes
or until melted
