~ Potato Soup Mix in a Jar ~
1 3/4 cups instant mashed potatoes
1 1/2 cups dry milk
2 tbsp instant chicken boullion
2 tsp dried minced onion
1 tsp dried parsley
1/4 tsp ground white pepper
1/4 tsp dried thyme
1 1/2 tsp seasoning salt
Combine ingredients in a bowl
Place in wide-mouth 1-quart canning jar
Put the lid on the jar and tie a homespun fabric bow around the lid
As an added touch, tie a wooden spoon to the lid
Attach jar labels to the jar with the following instructions

~ Potato Soup ~
1/2 cup soup mix
1 cup boiling water
To serve, place soup mix and water
in serving bowl. Stir until smooth
Makes 6 servings
