A fun and easy way to package great gifts for giving
Give jars by themselves or use as the perfect addition to any gift basket
Great idea for the holidays or any special occasion
~ Microwave Fudge Mix in a Jar ~
1 lb confectioners suger
1/3 to 1/2 cup Hersheys cocoa (not instant)
1 cup chopped nuts (optionial)
Layer in wide-mouth 1-quart canning jar in order listed above
Press each layer firmly in place before adding next ingredient
Put the lid on the jar and tie a homespun fabric bow around the lid
As an added touch, tie a wooden spoon to the lid
Attach jar labels to the jar with the following instructions

~ Microwave Fudge ~
1/2 stick of butter (not margarine)
1 1/4 cup of milk
1 tsp vanilla
Put sugar, cocoa, butter and milk into
large microwavable bowl. Mix well and
microwave on high for 2 minutes
Immediately add vanilla and beat with
a whisk until vanilla is incorporated
Add nuts if desired and spread onto
a pam-sprayed 8x8 pan
Chill in freezer for 20 minutes
before serving
