Give jars by themselves or use as the perfect addition to any gift basket
Great idea for the holidays or any special occasion
~ Magic Cookie Bar Mix in a Jar ~
1--6oz package real chocolate chips
1--3 1/2oz bag flaked coconut (1 1/3 cups)
1 cup pecans, coarsely chopped
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
Place graham cracker crumbs in a plastic "baggie"
and insert in jar on top of layered ingredients
Layer in wide-mouth 1-quart canning jar in order listed above
Press each layer firmly in place before adding next ingredient
Put the lid on the jar and tie a homespun fabric bow around the lid
As an added touch, tie a wooden spoon to the lid
Attach jar labels to the jar with the following instructions

~ Magic Cookie Bars ~
1 jar cookie mix
1/2 cup butter, melted
1--14oz can condensed milk
Preheat oven to 350F
In a 13"x9" baking pan, melt butter in the
oven. Sprinkle cracker crumbs over the butter
Pour the condensed milk evenly over the crumbs
Top evenly with the remaining ingredients; press
down firmly. Bake 30 minutes or until
lightly browned
