A fun and easy way to package great gifts for giving
Give jars by themselves or use as the perfect addition to any gift basket
Great idea for the holidays or any special occasion
~ Fudge Brownie Mix in a Jar ~
2 cups sugar
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup cocoa
1 cup flour
Layer in wide-mouth 1-quart canning jar in order listed above
Press each layer firmly in place before adding next ingredient
Put the lid on the jar and tie a homespun fabric bow around the lid
As an added touch, tie a wooden spoon to the lid
Attach jar labels to the jar with the following instructions

~ Fudge Brownies ~
1 jar brownie mix
1 cup butter, softened
4 eggs
Preheat oven to 325F
Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan. Cream butter in
the large bowl of an electric mixer. Add
eggs, one at a time, beating well after each
addition. Add the jar of brownie mix and beat
the mixture until it is smooth. Spread in the
prepared pan and bake for 40-50 minutes
Cut when completely cooled
