Great idea for the holidays or any special occasion
~ Curried Rice Mix in a Jar ~
1 cup long-grain rice
1 chicken bouillon cube, crumbled
2 tbsp dried minced onion
1/4 cup raisins
1/2 tsp curry powder
Layer in 1-1/2 cup jar in order listed above
Put the lid on the jar and tie a homespun fabric bow around the lid
As an added touch, tie a wooden spoon to the lid
Attach jar labels to the jar with the following instructions

~ Curried Rice ~
1 jar rice mix
2 1/2 cups water
In a medium saucepan bring the water to a boil
Add all the rice mix. Cover and reduce the heat
to a simmer for 20 minutes
Serves 6
