Chocolate Bread Pudding
~ Mix in a Jar ~
1/4 cup cocoa
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
3 cups unseasoned dried bread crumbs
Layer in wide-mouth 1-quart canning jar in order listed above
Press each layer firmly in place before adding next ingredient
Put the lid on the jar and tie a homespun fabric bow around the lid
As an added touch, tie a wooden spoon to the lid
Attach jar labels to the jar with the following instructions

~ Chocolate Bread Pudding ~
1 jar bread pudding mix
1 quart whole milk
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
Butter bottom and sides of crockpot. Empty
jar contents into crockpot and stir to combine
In a saucepan, bring milk to simmer then pour
over dry ingredients. Let sit for 10 minutes
allowing milk to cool and chocolate chips to
partially melt and the bread crumbs to absorb
liquid. Whisk together eggs and vanilla and
stir into bread mixture
Cook on high for 1 1/2 - 2 hours
