White Chocolate-Macadamia Cookie
~ Mix in a Jar ~
1/2 cup chopped macadamia nuts
1/2 cup white chocolate or vanilla milk chips
1/2 cup light or dark brown sugar, packed
1 cup buttermilk biscuit and baking mix
1/2 cup light or dark brown sugar, packed
1 cup buttermilk biscuit and baking mix
Layer in wide-mouth 1-quart canning jar in order listed above
Press each layer firmly in place before adding next ingredient
Put the lid on the jar and tie a homespun fabric bow around the lid
As an added touch, tie a wooden spoon to the lid
Attach jar labels to the jar with the following instructions

~ White Chocolate-Macadamia Cookies ~
1 jar cookie mix
1 large egg
1 stick butter or margarine, melted
1 tsp vanilla *OR* almond extract
Preheat oven to 375F
Empty contents of jar into medium bowl
Stir in butter or margarine, egg and vanilla
or almond extract. Mix until well combined
Shape into 1-inch balls. Place on baking
sheets coated with cooking spray. Bake
for 10-12 minutes or until cookies
are light golden brown
Makes 2 1/2 dozen cookies
