Cinnamon Apple Pancake
~ Mix in a Jar ~
3 cups all-purpose flour
3 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp baking powder
1/2 cups dried apples
4 tsp ground cinnamon
1 1/4 tsp salt
Layer in wide-mouth 1-quart canning jar in order listed above
Press each layer firmly in place before adding next ingredient
Put the lid on the jar and tie a homespun fabric bow around the lid
As an added touch, tie a wooden spoon to the lid
Attach jar labels to the jar with the following instructions

~ Cinnamon Apple Pancakes ~
1 1/3 cup pancake mix
3/4 cup milk
1 egg
2 tbsp cooking oil
In medium bowl, combine milk, egg, and cooking oil
With fork, blend in 1 1/3 cup pancake mix until
moistened but still lumpy. Cook on lightly
greased griddle or skillet
Makes about 10--5 inch pancakes
