Chocolate Graham Cookie
~ Mix in a Jar ~
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 package mini-baking bits
(milk chocolate or semi-sweet)
1 1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
Layer in wide-mouth 1-quart canning jar in order listed BELOW**
Press each layer firmly in place before adding next ingredient
**Layer the ingredients in the following order, bottom to top:
brown sugar, granulated sugar, flour mixture,
graham cracker crumbs and mini-baking bits
Put the lid on the jar and tie a homespun fabric bow around the lid
As an added touch, tie a wooden spoon to the lid
Attach jar labels to the jar with the following instructions

~ Chocolate Graham Cookies ~
1 jar cookie mix
3/4 cup of unsalted butter, softened
1 egg
2 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350F
Lightly grease 2 baking sheets. Using an
electric mixer, cream the butter, egg, milk
and vanilla at high speed. Stir in the
contents of the jar, until combined. Drop
by heaping Tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart
Bake for 8-9 minutes until set
(do not overbake)
