Cherry Pecan Popover
~ Mix in a Jar ~
1 cup flour
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground ginger
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 cup dried cherries
1/3 cup chopped pecans
Combine and blend the ingredients in a small bowl
Layer in wide-mouth 1-pint canning jar
Put the lid on the jar and tie a homespun fabric bow around the lid
As an added touch, tie a wooden spoon to the lid
Attach jar labels to the jar with the following instructions

~ Cherry Pecan Popovers ~
1 jar popover mix
1 cup milk
2 large eggs
2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
Preheat the oven to 450F
Grease 6 popover cups or individual custard cups
and place them in the oven to preheat. In a bowl,
blend the mix with the milk, eggs, and butter
Pour the batter into the preheated cups and
bake for 15 minutes. Reduce the heat to 350F
and continue to bake for 15-20 minutes, or
until puffed and browned. Serve warm
with butter and jam
