Best Ever Chocolate Cookie
~ Mix in a Jar ~
1 2/3 cup flour
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
Layer in wide-mouth 1-quart canning jar in order listed above
Press each layer firmly in place before adding next ingredient
Put the lid on the jar and tie a homespun fabric bow around the lid
As an added touch, tie a wooden spoon to the lid
Attach jar labels to the jar with the following instructions

~ Best Ever Chocolate Cookies ~
1 jar cookie mix
3/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
Preheat oven to 350F
Empty contents of jar into a bowl. In a
separate bowl, combine the butter, eggs and
vanilla. Beat with mixer (may seem clumpy,
but that is ok) Add to dry mixture. Drop
by rounded tablespoonfuls onto an ungreased
cookie sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes
