Apple Pecan Pudding Cake
~ Mix in a Jar ~
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup chopped pecans
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 tsp nutmeg
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 3/4 cups flour
Layer in wide-mouth 1-quart canning jar in order listed above
Press each layer firmly in place before adding next ingredient
Put the lid on the jar and tie a homespun fabric bow around the lid
As an added touch, tie a wooden spoon to the lid
Attach jar labels to the jar with the following instructions

~ Apple Pecan Pudding Cake ~
1 jar cake mix
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup vegetable oil
2 cups peeled and diced apples
Empty contents of jar into large mixing bowl, stirring
to combine. Add eggs, vanilla, oil and apples. Beat until
well blended. Place greased bread pan or greased tin cans
into crockpot, and fill the containers 2/3 full
Cook on high for 3 1/2 - 4 hours
