A fun and easy way to package great gifts for giving
Give jars by themselves or use as the perfect addition to any gift basket
Great idea for the holidays or any special occasion
~ Cinnamon Rice Pudding Mix in a Jar ~
Makes 4 jars of rice pudding mixes
4 cups uncooked medium grain rice, divided
2 cups granulated sugar, divided
8 cinnamon sticks
2 teaspoons salt, divided
1 teaspoon ground vanilla, divided
Place 1 cup rice in each of 4 jars
Add the following ingredients to a small ziplock baggie
making one sugar-spice packet
1/2 cup sugar
2 cinnamon sticks
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground vanilla
Add 1 cup of rice to each 1-quart wide-mouth canning jar
Add packet with other ingredients on top of rice
Put the lid on the jar and tie a homespun fabric bow around the lid
As an added touch, tie a wooden spoon to the lid
Attach the labels below to the jar
